Hi, I'm Lisa!
I'm a mum of three, a business owner and someone who believes that young people are capable of incredible things when they're given the opportunity to explore their ideas.
Over the years, I've built and managed businesses, experienced the challenges of entrepreneurship and discovered just how rewarding it can be to turn an idea into something real.
But one of the most exciting parts has been watching my own children explore their entrepreneurial ideas.
Seeing their creativity, determination and confidence grow reminded me of something important: you don't have to be an adult to start thinking like an entrepreneur.
Why I Created Little Business, Big Ideas
Every Mind Thinks Differently. Every Idea Matters.
As a mum of three, I've seen firsthand that children learn, think and experience the world in different ways.
With neurodiversity being part of our family, I understand that traditional learning environments don't always bring out the best in every child.
Some children thrive academically, while others discover their strengths through creativity, hands-on experiences, problem-solving or following their passions.
And that's something worth celebrating.
I believe that a child's potential should never be measured solely by their academic achievements.
That's one of the reasons I created Little Business, Big Ideas.
I wanted to develop a course that encourages young people to explore their own ideas, work at their own pace and discover what they're capable of, without the pressure of getting everything right.
Whether they prefer writing, drawing, creating or learning by doing, there's room for different approaches.
Because great ideas don't all come from minds that think alike.
Learning by Doing
Little Business, Big Ideas is a practical, step-by-step course designed for aspiring entrepreneurs aged 10–18.
Through 10 modules, hands-on activities, business challenges and a dedicated workbook, young people learn how to take an idea and develop it into a business.
There are no strict deadlines and no pressure to get everything perfect.
Children can work at their own pace, explore their creativity and build confidence along the way.
Because sometimes the most valuable lessons come from simply giving something a go.
More Than Just Business Skills
Starting a business isn't only about making money.
It's about learning to think independently, solve problems, make decisions, manage challenges and believe in your own abilities.
Whether a young person goes on to launch a successful business or simply discovers a new passion, the skills they develop can stay with them for life.
My hope is that Little Business, Big Ideas inspires young people to believe in themselves, follow their curiosity and discover just how much they're capable of.
Because every big business starts with a little idea.
